The second and maybe last dyed and stabilized Black Ash Burl crow call I will ever make. LOVE the look and sound but this material is so hard and very difficult to ream. This call placed in the Mountain State Call Making Competition in WV. I bought it back and am keeping it in the collection. Thanks for looking!

Good looking call!
That Black Ash is beautiful, What a unique piece.....I would love to get a crow in that. Any others in the plans?...... :funnyturkey:
Thank you. I have some old growth, figured, redwood black that is over 1,000 years old that is up for next crow calls. I do have some stabilizatied black ash and buckeye burl in colors but not in bright green. I will PM you with more details. Thanks for the interest.

Sharp looking crow call!
Sounds like you need a better reamer or more horse power to that lathe.

Yes, I do need a better reamer. Most woods it has been ok but this blank was hard as a rock
