Title: TSS through a Rhino Choke?
Post by: Haypatch on February 08, 2019, 03:55:39 PM
Anyone run tss through a Rhino choke tube?  Was thinking about trying some but couldn't remember if it was recommended or if there was a certain type of choke I would need.

You'll be fine. Pretty sure Rhinos have aggressive wad strippers so just be aware you might get some scratches/dings in it as you would shooting anything out of it that's heavier than lead. Purely cosmetic but I know how I was when I first started loading my own and saw some choke tube dings in a Indian creek. I was made aware that any choke with wad strippers is going to end up showing some cosmetic damage quicker than the ones that aren't as aggressive about stripping the wad.

Run Nitro TSS through mine just fine. Go into 12 ga patterns to see mine from last year with my SBE2.
