Title: How many grains in an ounce?

Beginner at patterning here. Are there 437.5 grains in 1 ounce? I'm probably way off, but I'm not sure where to find info on these particular subjects.

Never mind just found the FAQ portion of the forum on shot sizes.

I am assuming Winchester Longbeard XR is normal lead and not htl right?
