I have a Mossy 835 about a 1997 model and the last three times I have shoot some 3.5 Hevi shells through it, it does not want to pull the spent hull out of the chamber. Has anyone ever had this happen or have any advice on what to do. I have been thinking about getting one of the new turkey thug models, but if I can fix it I would rather do that.
More than likely your extractor spring has gotten weaker or posibly your extractor has become worn and needs to be replaced. I would call Moss and have them send you a new extractor and a extractor spring.
And it could be possibly you got some shells that aren't sized to factory specs. But I doubt it.
