Here is a piece of Brazilian Tulipwood, I had it in the shop for a long time and it was begging to get chucked on the lathe. I know Tulipwood is getting rarer by the day, but figured it was time to do something with it, glad I did as it sure did make a nice trumpet. I sure am having fun making these things....lol

That looks wonderful. Tulipwood has all kinds of character to it. Even my Stuckey striker that is in Tulipwood has character to it.

Nice looking call, Tulipwood is a great looking wood and is one of my top 3 strikers. You are doing some really nice work!!!

Thank you very much Chris O......I have never used a Tulipwood striker, guess I need to make one. I will say that it makes a great looking and sounding trumpet. I definitely hear tonal differences with each different wood, Tulipwood has a nice crispness with great character and realism. I like it a lot, must buy more :TooFunny:
