12 or 20ga ??
I sometimes use that size of load in my 20ga with a .575 Carlson choke and never look back

If you can get your hands on the #6 load, give them a try. I wrecked two gobblers in Fl with this load in 3in 12ga this past season. One at 35yds and the other at 45. The damage done was nothing short of amazing. A couple of the exit holes on the side of the neck looked like .22 entry holes. There were blood caked feathers, and I actually had to wipe down the second birds neck with a paper towel before I could take a pic. You can't beat them IMO. You get lots of shells to pattern and hunt with for the same price as 5 of some of the HTL loads.
