I love a good blasted anodized aluminum call. They are very versatile in that you can call soft and loud on them.
Here's a couple white oak and one cherry. I still need to do a little cleaning and sign the pots. I love white oak as the mountains I hunt are full of it. These white oak blanks have a killer look to them.
The white oak has a soulful yelp with good volume. The cherry has more volume and rasp. Both have the high-pitch, two-tone yelp that drive the mountain birds I hunt crazy.
