Title: Northern Kansas Rio Outfitter?
Post by: dms2511 on May 08, 2018, 09:35:54 PM
I am looking to combine a trip to Nebraska next spring with a Rio hunt in Kansas. Does anyone have a recommendation of an outfitter for a Rio hunt in Northern Kansas?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was out with Midwest Whitetail Adventures in Clay Center, Kansas a couple of weeks ago.  They have a great lodge and lots of land access, over 30k acres within 40 minutes of their lodge.  They offer fully, semi, and self guided hunts.  Plenty of mature birds on the couple of farms I hunted while I was there.  My trip got cut a little short due to a death in the family, but everyone else in my group tagged out, and I missed a nice one about an hour before I had to head out to the airport.

I've known Beamer for about 20 years I reckon from way back when helped here in CO.  We've been out there a bunch of times and have always had great hunts on some beautiful properties.  Going out in 2 weeks to check out the new lodges.

Mark puts on a great hunt.

Pipe Creek.  Could have limited out first day, but didn't want to cut the hunt short.  Filled 2nd tag the 2nd day.
