Ceramic - hickory / osage / bloodwood
Glass/crystal - hickory / macassar / dymondwood / bloodwood
Slate - hickory / wenge / black locust
Aluminum - dymondwood / black locust
Titanium - bloodwood / dymondwood / rosewood
Copper - ** I don't like copper & it doesn't like me 8)
This is going to end up like a favorite ice cream flavor question...

Tulipwood
I forgot tulipwood some how. If I could only carry 3 strikers they would be tulipwood, macassar and dymondwood .
Really good combo
would be tulipwood, macassar and dymondwood
Haven't found a pot yet that I didn't like hickory, purple heart, and yellow heart on. These three cover just about everything to my ear.

Two piece dymondwood for all of it except snakewood for Titanium and I don't know on copper because I don't have a copper.
Bloodwood, black locust, hickory, I always seem to carry. then i add tulipwood and bubinga. Try softwoods like eastern red cedar, ramin or my fav, poplar on slate. All arounds: Yellow heart, purpleheart, Rosewoods, good on ceramics. Padauk on copper or Wenge is under rated too, I like it a lot
