Post by: Quackwacker NC on April 12, 2018, 12:24:39 PM
Finally got out to check my gun this yr, I pulled alittle to the right, m2 20ga 26" tube with a sumtoy 562-5 shooting apex 1 5/8 #9's 284 in the 10 at 40, I have a IC 555 but I don't think I need any tighter .

I tried posting a pic but it wouldn't let me?

I would be very happy with 280 9's!

It'll do handily to kill any bird you take a good shot at.

I think 280 #9's will do the job

My M2 was shooting 410 in the 10 regularly with the 1 5/8 #9's . Big Number for sure . After 6 shots to kill 2 Gobblers I started to rethink this and dropped my pellet count to a still strong 310 -320 and was trying to get to 280 -290 . My hunting partner also dropped from 380's to 280's and we haven't looked back 7 kills and not a miss this year between us and would have been much higher if it wasn't for 6 kills with the lil ol .410 tristars . we both started with an IC .555 and went to Jebs .565 to open up our patterns to get a much better 20 inch choke combo .Take it from experience the 20's will shoot with any 12 ga out there but don't try and push it to high .

Do you have a pic of that 410 count pattern?
