Title: Tru-Glo Strut and Rut scope
Post by: Crappiepro on February 11, 2011, 12:44:29 PM
Has any one used the Tru-Glo strut and rut 4x32 scope? How did it do? I seen one and was kickin the idea around about gettin one. I know its no Burris but for $60 it seems like a good deal for one.

I have had terrible luck with anything with truglo on the label.
That being said, I have'nt tried the tube style scopes they offer. I thing if you are going to go in this direction, I would pick up a bushnell banner shotgun scope. It's a little more money, but it's a better built product, IMO.

Busnell Banner all the way, love the circle x.  Its alot better than the nikon shotgun scope too imo.  I have both and the bushnell has never let me down.

I had one on my old 870 and sold it with the gun. The optics left a lot to be desired and the rings/windage screws were made of some kind of white metal which marred up easily. I'd pass on it IMHO. For a lower end scope I'd go with the Bushnell or Simmons pro-diamond.
