Shot Two Turkeys this season only had One stuck Tick. Double proud!
THREE TURKEYS---NO TICKS!!!! THANK GOD FOR PERMETHRIN AND THERMACELLS!!!!
1 to 1 so far. Last year, it was 3 to 0 in favor of the shot turkeys. IF you count turkey mites, they won last year by about 100, mostly on my butt!
1 to 1 for me. Strange thing is that the tick came out of the yard at home!
Beast season so far on both!!
Little ticks and a lot of turkeys!!
God Bless,
David B.
5 bowkills to 0 tick kills but that was in March and early April. My IL. season doesn't start till May but I'm videoing now.
3 turks, no ticks.
But I'm still huntin'... ;D
I've been out scouting no ticks so far, I remember 2 falls ago I was turkey hunting and got 17 ticks on me, two of them burrowed on me >:(
at least 1 turkey to 5 ticks.......nothing unusual but I'm still chasing them
4 turkeys no ticks
0 - 0
2 Toms, and one tick that must have come down from my hat onto the back of my hair. I've got enough tick spray to kill anything that climbs on my clothes, but forgot to spray my hat.
4 birds- 0 ticks.
No ticks up here. They must still be hibernating, because the weather has been nasty. Green Bay got 10'' of snow, yesterday. Enough already...Mike
more ticks than turkeys here in Florida
My wife was fussing at me this morning, she had one embedded in her hip. And she hasn't hunted w/ me one time this year. I guess the tick transferred to her somehow from my last hunt! For me, had two of the little blood suckers myself.
3 turkeys, 2 ticks so far. Permethrin is a blessing!
So far, 1 turkey and 5 ticks. Got both on opening day. I have used Deep Woods OFF 95% DEET since and have had no new ticks or turkeys. :happy0064:
Big zero for both-burned two tags-no blood suckers!

Same here but warmer weather to come in WI so the ticks will win that battle every year!!
