I have been comparing the Burris FFIII to the Vortex Venom and find that these two reflex type red dots are very similar. I have been leaning a bit toward the Vortex because of the extra brightness adjustment. Last night, I was reading a review on the Vortex on a site that I can not find now. It stated that the windage and elevation adjustments are not indented and thus do not have "click" adjustments that you can feel.
Can any of you confirm this? If so, any known issues with them drifting off?
Also what about the Burris FFIII...do they have click adjustments ?
Thanks

I'd check the click adjustments on my ff3, but I really don't want to mess with my settings right now-lol. Actually, I really don't remember if they do or not.
As far as getting a Venom, I agree it's nice having more intensity settings. I also believe the Vortex has more adjustment as far as windage and elevation goes. I actually ran out of adjustment on my Burris and had to add a shim under the optic. I believe this is common with the Burris. The venom gets good reviews and I don't think I would worry about the dot drifting. Good luck.
The burris does not "click"

Agreed. I adjusted one of my new ones today, and it did not click.
