Who carries 2 trumpets with them when hunting one to sound like a hen and the other one sound like a Jake or gobbler
I carry 4. They are light and never know which a gobbler will like. I do not carry many pots or boxes so I just carry extra trumpets.
A valid question
But for me just one
I have a bunch though sometimes I can't make up my mind which one
I get different tones from one , just depends on how ya play it
Only carry one but I just pick one that I have made some like to see a dead bird laying beside a trumpet that they are getting.
I carry 3. I have my main trumpet that I use 90% of the time, and then I have a smaller one that makes higher pitched calls. I also carry one that is by far the loudest call I've heard. I only use that when trying to locate a tom on large hunks of state land after I've tried other calls first.

I carry two. A regular trumpet and a Jordan style.
I carry a trumpet and a cane yelper.
A carry a trumpet and a wingbone made from gobbler bones though I can pinch this off to run it higher. I carry both to cover the range of turkey talk, same reason I carry a long box.
Last year was my first hunting with a trumpet, I had 3 or 4 with me.....I was bored one morning on some public land so I started calling with them, one after another....very soft clucks and yelps....had 3 gobblers sneak in on me without saying a word, I did not get a shot off, but they sure worked....not sure which one did the trick, or if it was a combination of them all, but I was sold on them after that trip.
I carry two. Never the same maker. Different sounds.

Do you carry All them on lanyards? If you carry them in a pocket do you put them in a sock or wrap something around them? Thanks
I carry multiple ones in a striker roll up. Works perfect.

My vest had an area with pockets that fit them perfectly. The Camo case is my KP and it will be around my neck at 1st team.

Crown royal bags work great.

Crown royal bags work great.
[/quote] I use them to carry around a wireless mouse myself.
Opening morning, I'll have 2. My L.F. Cox cocobolo and my blackwood chibouk pipe yelper by Anthony Ellis. Those pipe yelpers don't get enough attention. Sweet callers. One of the best soft callers I've got.
No trumpets, but I carry two wingbones. One made with a hen bone and one with a jake bone.

I carry two by two different makers. I roll them up in a small sheet of bubble wrap and place them in a hard case I found on Amazon. Stick the case in one of my vest pockets and I'm good to go.
