A friend had this call made for me as a gift several years ago. I own a pine sawmill so he had Mr. Paul make it out of heart pine. After a conversation with Jimmy Schaffer he told me on of his favorite boxes was made from heart pine. I recently pulled off the plastic and ran it and it sings! It looks pretty good too!

Awesome call! I have my great great grandfather's railroad lantern from when he worked at the old union station in Nashville. If Mr. Paul still has any of that wood in his stash, I may have to get a call made from it. Now I just have to convince my accountant wife to include this in the 2018 acquisitions budget.
