I picked up a Walnut Green Slate from Mark Cornelius this weekend at NWTF and let me tell you it's smokin'! He won 1st in slate with it at NWTF grand nationals and several other state contests so far this year. He told me he was 1 pt from winning the DD Adams award. It sounds better than all my other slates for sure, and I've got some high end ones. It will be in my vest opening day! Steal of a deal too.. I can't believe he sells it for what he does!

Yep. Have one on order from him.
How do you order from him?
Just got on his list for one! Looks like a killer!
Can you guys tell me what they are selling for
Mine was $50 at the show. He charges a little extra for shipping.
Thanks!
That's a fine looking call.
That Green Slate surface really runs well.

One of my favorites, a turkey killer! Birds loved it the last two springs!
How does this compare to his cherry green slate?
Does anyone have a sound file of this call?
Gotta love walnut. It's a timeless classic.

Agree 100% I love walnut and Osage calls
I would take anything that man makes. I don't care what wood or what surface. They're all killer.
Loved being able to try out some of his pots at the convention during the silent auction!
I had never played any of his calls until the convention. They were all very nice, sounded good, and played well. That green slate looks to be no exception.
I just got an American Chestnut pot from him with green slate over glass....the call is the best sounding pot call that I have...and I have some very good ones. Really good sounding and can play from very loud down to very soft and still sound good. Not sure if the reclaimed chestnut was just a one off or not.

His number is on the front of his calls....google images for Mac Turkey calls, and then text to that number.
Hey y'all I don't do facebook either, but his page isn't private. If you search his name on Google his facebook link comes up and you can view it. Either way I went over there and got y'all the number it's 814-684-6041.

I was the same way...walking down the line at silent auction and said...."oooooo! There is a mark cornelius!"
I'd love to buy one, but I don't do facebook. The phone number on the calls goes straight to voicemail that hasn't been set up. If you see this Mark, give me a holler at 615-476-7131. Many thanks!
See it now, smart young man.
We did away with the land line at the house, my contact # is 814 312 4542. Thanks Guys!
