Can anyone tell me the difference between the Thunderstruck glass from Pollard and the Walnut/Maple/Padauk from Hanks?
I have both. The Hanks sound great and is a little high pitched. Killed one in the pouring rain last year with it and the gobbler heard the Hanks from 200yrds away. The Pollard is bad to the bone and effortless to run. I am very impressed with Pollard calls. It has more of a mid rangy traditional glass tone with a nice break. You can drop it on the floor and it yelps.
I have always wanted to try the Pollard cryptic crystal,I think they are a nice looking call that I don't hear much about
Haven't ran Hanks, but know they are awesome calls.
I've got a cryptic Crystal in my bag that always goes to contests with me. It depends on the room for what I run, but it is a solid old hen.
