For some reason I keep going back to my birdseye maple slate over glass. It just kills!

Black Death..... An older black acrylic bronzed glass over glass with a blue soundboard. Acrylic before it became so popular. She has accounted for some fine gobblers.

Black acrylic glass over aluminum with a dymondwood striker. Probably have more kills under that call than any other I own

Black acrylic aluminum surface..also have a wood pot stone aluminum that's not bad
