Title: ORIGINAL SPURMASTER CALL.
Post by: quavers59 on August 14, 2017, 06:25:12 PM
Well members-- I just received my Original Spurmaster caller made by Garry Vines of Alabama. He holds the Alabama record gobbler with 2" spurs.   I am super happy with this caller after working it for just 10 minutes! I bought this caller after watching his Utube video a few times . He has a few utube videos up. The yelps, clucks and kee-kees are awesome! Purrs are super  as well. Check out how he runs the Spurmaster caller. It is about 5 minutes or so. I like the one where he is at an expo as well and watch--2 INCH.
I am going to use the spurmaster this Fall and next Spring- I am on the lookout for the 2 gobblers that were with the one I killed on 5/31/16. This tom had spurs a smidge over 1 1/2". Hoping his brothers will still be alive next Spring!

Thank you daddyduke! The Spurmaster is worth the money for sure. Practiced some this morning.  If even one of the 3 brothers are still alive by next Spring--he will be old indeed!! I have a strong feeling that the spurs on the 2 remaining brothers are over 1 1/2" by now.

Have heard good things on the call and it is a neat call. Hopefully they have the genetics for it cause it takes more than age to grow long spurs.

It's pure turkey for sure. My buddy bought one from him about a year ago. When Gary brought it by the shop for me to take it to him he showed me how to run it. I was doing OK with it for the short time I played with it but Gary could really make it sound good. I probably should have bought one myself. I may still get one from him before next turkey season. They are great sounding calls.

Yeah grayfox, I agree. I was able just this morning to master to kee-kees.  Takes some practice.  I think the Spurmaster will be my #1 caller.
