i went and patterned my mossberg 835 today....i put a orange circle on a big piece of poster board......now how do i draw a 10 inch circle to see how many pellets are in the 10 inch are?..i dont have a protractor
Allot of guys use a 10" circle cutt out of plexi glass...or just a 10" bucket lid will work
I use a clear water tray that goes under a potted plant. 10" and 89ยข.
Many dinner plates are 10". A clear glass one will work. Glass shops will also make you a 10" circle from plastic or plexiglass for a few dollars and I'm sure if you "Google" it you can find some enterprising person who also makes them.
It really helps when whatever you use is clear.
Thanks,
Clark
I use a 12 masonry saw blade that I wore down to 10". That way I have a handy center point as well. I am not a pellet counter but I do like checking poi every year and making sure things are normal.

Piece of string with a Sharpie tied to it. Cheap protractor.
You can buy a cheap kid's compass tool at one of the marts for $5 to $10. I have a high quality one that I think I paid around $20 for a number of years ago. I used mine to make 10" circle targets with a 4" circle inside that.
I use a paint stirrer with a hole drillled for a nail and 2 more holes one hole 5" away and one 10" away. I stick the nail center of patern and a sharpie in the 5" hole and draw my circle. Then I put the sharpie in the 10" hole and draw my 20.
