Ahhh......"Little Windy". Farmer's personal yelper. I reckon that one might just fetch a record dollar amount some day. Maybe more than the Henry Davis. I dare speculate.
But any of his calls would be on my list for sure.
Lee's Champion Gobble Box
Long Box from Jeff McKamey
Another pot of some sort from Jimmy Shaffer
Maybe another crow call from Mr. Gibson
A scratch box from SS
That's a pretty conservative list, the more I'm on this forum the more I think I want.
Ive always got a wish list in my head going
Watkins fiddle box
Mini paddle call (not sure what maker)
Dawkins crystal or stoned aluminum pot
Roberts glass over aluminum
Bashore and Tate Williams scratch boxes

There is a soundfile midway down page 1 of Trumpet/Wingbone section. And no, not for profit. Love nor money will part me from any of mine. There is a sound or tone that is easier to create using a Woodwind than others. The rasp can be duplicated on others but I have not found "that" tone on others as easily.
will give it a look. thanks
I've got a growing list I'm trying to check off here and there.
My next Purchase will be 3 Sneed Pots

You are always good for a laugh Mr. Garrett. I would gladly take yours as well.
Shoot, Gutpile wouldn't know who Billy is if it wasn't for some old crotchety guy from Gobbler's Knob,GA.. :toothy9:
He has a couple that I need to win back.. Playing billiards against him isn't working.

mouth calls with the old style "thick/stiff" tape.
Lonnie Sneed hot hen
Pretty good on calls. Though a Mark Sharpe wingbone and cane yelper may be in my future. Other than that I think I am good. Just got into wingbones this winter but after running one this spring I can see where they come in handy. Got a lot more practicing to do tho.

wingbone's won't work on western Md. public birds, it's something to do with the how the thermals run off the ridges mixed with the unbalanced PH level in the soil

That's odd. I have some pictures that can prove otherwise. Must have been the moon phase. Thanks for the breakdown. Learn something new every day ;)
