Title: Paracord gun sling?
Post by: TheSportsman on April 22, 2017, 09:01:21 PM
Anyone have experience? Thinking bout having one made for my over and under. Long story short, the fixed swivels on gun are european, 3\4" wide. Pretty hard find good sling round here. Paracord bad about slipping? Pros, cons? Thanks!!!

cut down the sides of the sling material...that's what i've done before...  you will just have to modify it a little ...

I made one for my .410. I usually have my hand on the sling while walking so slipping isnt an issue.Paracord has many uses and you will probably end up making all kinds of other gear if you go that route.

Guy on Ebay goes by the name gunslinger makes a beauty for about 30$. He used to post here occasionally.

Send him a message before you buy. I am sure he can make one for 3/4.

paracord looks good... great even, but its very uncomfortable on the shoulder if you walk as much as i do.

When paracord is weaved that tight, it becomes very hard.

Get the claw sling and you'll never look back.  Very comfortable.

I would modify a claw. I have like 10 of em. I almost hate any other slings now.  My favorite is the quake claw skim one.  Trim your sides, put em in your fixed swivels, stitch em.  Story over.
