Title: Mossberg 20ga choke question
Post by: sswv on March 31, 2017, 09:34:49 PM
young fellow in the neighborhood has a 500 Mossberg 20ga and was asking me about turkey chokes for it. I'm not up to date on them so I told him I'd ask on here. He says he has some 3" #5 and #6 shells and I gave him a box of Federal 3" #5's before he left.  any advice on what to get him? need to keep the cost down cause he said he couldn't afford anything real expensive.

thanks in advance

SSX or Tight Wad would be my picks

The best bang for buck is a primos tight wad .570, I got mine on clearance at Walmart for $9, but it usually runs around $20.
