If you play them a lot than not long in my experience...that is their one flaw, you can not replicate the finish on a stoned surface without removing the playing surface and tumbling it again in media. I will say I have a lonzo stoned that I have since got after the playing surface using maroon scotch brite that bowguy recommended and strong rubbing alcohol an it has become one of my favorite pots. Plays as good if not better than the stoned surface in my opinion

Yeah it doesn't last long. The maroon scotch bright will bring it back to life

Lon recently told me to clean the surface with acetone instead of alcohol.  Just need to be careful about not getting it on the pot and the glue.

Acetone evaporates fast and cleans better than alcohol.

Never tried acetone but 91% alcohol works really well. Rubbing alcohol kills a call in my experience...
