who makes the best sounding box that can be run in the rain?

Put any box in a bread bag n run it inside. Personally I haven't played a wet one that sounds real great

I havent played a wet box that sounded worth a flip. Thats why i use mouthcalls , trumpits and a few plastic or acrylic pot calls with a cottonmouth striker and a fiber rod. Good luck with your search.

Woodswise makes one that claims to play in the rain and sounds ok dry....never heard it wet though

For sure rain does cause problems. On those type days i have a small waterproof bag i just carry a few calls. Mouth, trumpets and ceramic pot call....my waterproof bag is one of those small soft camo drink coolers with the plastic liner ...
