Do they run any different with the holes drilled closer to the edge of the call?
Thanks guys not only do the look great they sound even better. Yelpy, to answer your question I don't think they run any different, you can play the slate as soft as you would like and also get on it when needed. The aluminum is a flat out screamer. Both are very easy to play.
Mr. Trice has made the only custom pot I have. I've had a chance to play a few others and so far the one I own has been my favorite.
