I received my Osage today as well along with the elm glass over slate. Both calls are great sounding calls and will be seeing some vest time this spring

Quite a few carmakers are using this slick aluminum....and some call it anodized aluminum....i thought anodized was the rough type??...i think this slick type aluminum is harder to run consistently (for me anyway)...what are you guys doing to eliminate that?...chalk? Scratching up the aluminum?
Jed, I scratch up surface of call with green scotchbrite and use pool cut chalk on the end of my striker. Scoot
