Title: 2 3/4 hevi shot
Post by: sevetts on March 01, 2017, 06:44:05 PM
Just curious as to experiences with the 2 3/4 loads? I've got a chance to buy about as many as I could ever use for  cheap.

All I've shot the last two years.  Got around 50 2 3/4 Hevi-13 shells stocked-up.  Local store has them for $16.99 a box regular then runs a 25% +/- sale come end of season then $10 per box rebate to Hevi-Shot = no brainer.  Thinking about making them an offer come end of season, should they have an interest in liquidating that inventory.

See my post under 12 gauge patterns.  Nothing to knock your socks off, but kills turkeys.  Having some work done on the NEF single I've been shooting w/ the 2 3/4" Hevi-13 to help along matters.

That's what I'm thinking, I can get 4,5,and 6s for 13 a box. Will the hevi shot rebate work on a box I paid 13 for?

Yes, I've done the same thing 3 years in a row and get a $20 check from Hevi Shot each year.
