Until 5 months ago Winchester denied that such a product existed.....they had them at the convention last weekend...they shipped to stores today...... ;D

That means they have been working on R&D, load development, and marketing plans for more than a year.
50% of the country is still gripped by winter, only a handful of southern states have an ultra-early opener. Most guys still have 5-7 weeks to try them before their opening date. I think Winchester did pretty good......

Shot some this weekend thru my 870 youth and wasnt that impressed with them. Think I'll stick with the heavy weight 7's.

Shot same gun, same choke. Was blown out, but still consistent. I think its the ultimate youth load, but for straight up killing, its Sumtoy and Fed 7s.
Those LBXRs will be a great shelf load. And alot of birds will fall to them. But not in my guns.

I'm not calling anyone liars so don't take me wrong. But where is the pictures of these patterns and where did you get the shells? I've yet to see a single pattern posted nor can I find a box of shells to buy and try for myself.

Me too! I hardly think they could throw patterns like the 12ga, but they can't be that bad could they.

Guys I'm not calling people liars like I was accused in a separate thread. Just simply asking where is the pictures. It's a hard to get and much anticipated shell that  we've all been looking forward to getting and seeing. Not being ugly but if I was privileged enough to have already gotten some and I was posting a review I'd show everyone what I was talking about.  I've read 5 reviews on here since the convention but not yet one picture to show what they did.

I was fortunate enough to be able to test them. Without any success...but I was more concerned with my Fed 7's combo to be honest...My problem is, I had a buddy helping me when I was shooting, he was gathering all my shot papers and putting them in my truck, when I got home, I had 12 rolled up shot papers, and only the first 2 had been labeled. All the others had no ID on them. So I honestly couldnt get on here and decifer between what shot and gun and choke was used...BUt, to clarify, they shot NOTHING to compare to the Fed 7's. Good....but not unreal like the Fed's. My estimation by looking at the shots were 120-140 maybe?? I may have been able to pull 160 with another choke, but after shooting 200+ with the Fed7's and Sumtoy first shot, I wasnt concerned with the XR's.

You must not be shooting 40yds,I ain't seen nobody shoot 200 in the 10 at 40yds with the fed 7s if you are you are doing good.

200 7's at 40 from a 20 gauge would be BEYOND phenomenal.............

Don't need the huge numbers to kill a turkey.  I feel the longbeards will make my 20g capable of 40y shots.  40y shots for me are few and far between, most are around 25y.

Winchester sxp, Sutton, and fed 7s. I've owned more turkey guns and had more choke/she'll combos than you could imagine. I don't have to prove anything to either of yalls disbelief. Good luck this season...and yes, 40yds. I'm no amateur to this game.

No one cares about how many guns you've owned all they said was 200 with Feds is pretty rare...Which I believe it is as well I've seen one gun do 200 with sumtoy and fed 7s from a 20 gauge

Good for you for not being a armature to this "game" I hope one day I can be like you.

Not so sure about an armature....but I do kill turkeys. I do know this...it's people like you, even IF I had posted my #''s, would still call foul some sort of way. Whether it's "not really 40yds"...or "that's not a true 10"circle"...or whatever...this is why this site has gone to crap. Rarely do I post here, but thankfully, with your help, I know why.

I recall SumToy saying a Winchester SX3 was the first (maybe only?) factory gun to shoot 200 with his choke. CABEAR is shooting a Win pump so it's no stretch to think he's found a great combo.
