Changing from Indian Creek .665 to either Jebbs .660 or Rhino .660 for my remington 870. Ive heard good things about each. Let me know what you think.

Frankly, all 3 are very good chokes but I'd recommend the JEBS http://allaboutshooting.com/products/jebs-12-gauge-turkey-choke-rem-choke I have shot all of them and like the patterns that I see from the JEBS chokes.
Thanks,
Clark

The Indian Creek not patterning well with that load?
I had great results with a jelly head .660 with that specific load. But I am sure the Rhino or Jebs would be just as good.

Its not what i would expect to get out of the nitro loads. I was just going to try something different and one of these are what they are recommended with this load so just going to see if anyone else has had similar situation. The IC shoots pretty good but don't get what I would expect out of the nitro load

I've had good results using that load and the Jeb's .660 with my 21" barreled 870.
I think thats what im leaning towards
Let us know how the patterns differ.

From what I understand the Jellyhead and Rhino will both give very similar results. ....at least that's what a couple buddies of mine told me. I'd try the Jellyhead first obviously cuz of $$$$
Ive heard good things about the Pure Gold .670 when shooting HTL loads.
This thread got me thing about my patterns with the Nitros and a Indian Creek on a 870, Nitro 3.5" 2.25oz #7s - 283. This was with a temp of 42 with wind gusts of 20 mph. Same day I shot this I shot some of the 2.25oz #7 Hevi13s and they did 233 in a 10" circle. That lot typically put up 270s so temperature had a major impact on the pattern. Just want to note this in case you patterned the gun on a cold day and were not overly excited about the pattern. Either way I'm hoping you get the Jebs and compare the two for my own self reasons haha.
The temps were in the low 60's when I patterned it with the IC. I shoot the 3 1/2 4x5x7's so don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I am trying to get someone to buy my IC or trade for a jebs plus boot but can't get anyone to trade/buy. The IC is basically brand new. 4 shots through it. May have to break down and buy a new one. Thanks for all the responses.
if they are the nitros from about 2 years ago its not the choke its the shell. I shot the same combo IC and 870 for a long time the last batch I bought wouldn't shoot as good as old lead shells they were terrible. Nitro had different wads and hulls and quality really dropped. I bet you put a longbeard 6 in that gun and it will amaze you how good it shoots. Nitro used to be great.
I just got my jebs choke and im gonna shoot it soon as i have time. So the Nitros aren't producing the quality shell they used to?
Go with the Jebs, they will work with you if it does not pattern to your satisfaction. I use one in my SBE 1, with Winchester Long Beards # 6's. It is a deadly combination. You will not be sorry. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Its crazy all the different opinions on here lol I wish I had all the money to try every combo. I think im gonna stick with my jeb though
