The maple sounds good...the others probly run just as good or berrer.

I just got the zebra wood glass over aluminum, it is awesome, it will be the first call out of my vest this coming spring!

I know you asked about his aluminum but as someone else said the Zebrawood glass over aluminum rocks. I just got it and it's amazing.

I myself prefer the looks of canarywood. I read somewhere that maple and padask as well as canarywood are noted for carrying sound well.
