Sure it's been brought up a million times...but looking at possibly purchasing and setting up a dedicated turkey gun. Have multiple shotguns already, but looking at something I can setup and solely use for turkeys. Pump or semi auto are both fine, no need for quick follow up shots. Would like for it to have or be able to add a pistol grip stock. Price is pretty open, although I ain't throwing down the coin for a Rob Roberts custom sbe2. The new 870s with shurshot stock interest me, although I'm unsure of recent 870 track record and want new not used. Sxp and 835 are options but never shot either. Lots of good semi auto options, but if can save by going to pump and get just as quality of a gun I'm good with that. Let me know what y'all got, thanks

I have this Winchester and so far it throws great patterns with my IC choke. This is the semi auto but you can get the pump with pistol grip. The barrels are over bored so that helps in a dedicated turkey gun. I have an Aimpoint red dot and so far really like the set up.

I would go with 20" barrel 835 in 12 gauge. Already drilled for a 336 base and fastfire. Shoots great patterns with everything. Buddy has one that is lights out with longbeards and my brother has one that is awesome with TSS. They also have lots of accessories available.
