Could I use one to condition? Basically the same as a conditioning stick isn't it?

That's what I use, medium grit pocket sharpening stone from ACE Hardare.

Same here. I sometimes glue them up on a nice piece of wood. Use a brand new one that's never been oiled.......Mr Obvious here. :wave:
