Looking for a good magazine and found this one.
Anybody get this magazine?
What do you think of it?
You seriously have never read T and TH... Its pretty good some issues are better than others and some articles are better than others.. I think its the best Turkey hunting mag going however.

i get it and really like it. GREAT magazine
I don't have subscription, but usually pick up 2 or 3 issues in the Spring. I drove through a white out snow storm to pick up the latest issue last week. Its a good read even if some of it is the same ole stuff. I like the photos a lot.
Look at the latest issue's photo of the tom strutting on the limb in the dark. Look at how stiff he looks. I'd bet that is a mounted bird.
I got a year of free mags... Their good to pass the time and read about turkeys
I like the magazine. It is a quick read. I'm not a guru so I pick up things here and there.
Well I thing it is a bunch of trash. I remember when it was in black and white. The stories were about everyday turkey hunters. Now it is just the " pros" telling you how to talk the talk or, the two way ticket to quietville.
And you can not forget all the "Hey buy this, you need this and this, and you can not kill a long beard without this"

True dat! I probably have, at least, 15 years worth of issues scattered around the house.
It's my favorite magazine. Very good articles and info!! :icon_thumright:

bad birds,near the back is a good read.
I like it but they want over $30 for another year's subscription now! Too rich for my blood, I'll let it lapse for that price.
Can re-subscribe as new subscriber next year for about $15.
I've been a reader and subscriber for many years. Any of you remember when the 2 turkey hunting mags combined to created T&TH? Gerry Blair? Subscriptions are $15 or less for 1 year.

I get it.Would like to see more "real" turkey hunter articles as somebody else mentioned.But I guess its not too bad means its about the only choice I got for just turkey hunting.Get tired of reading about ditch goats in all the other mags.

I used to subscribe to it, but haven't gotten it for the last couple of years. It was always a good mag, I too like the Bad Birds articles by Jim Spencer. I don't particularly care for Jim Casada's articles.
Big Shock and myself are doing a hunt with T&TH editor Brian Lovett this spring for MO/KS longbeards. God bless.
I got it years ago but have not picked one up in ages. Best I remember it was a pretty good read.

I think it's a pretty good read. Besides I think it's the only show in town when it comes to pure turkey hunting mags aint it?

Its always a great day when I pick up my copy of T and TH in the mail.
I look forward to getting mine and read it from cover to cover more than once. It's a pretty good magazine.

Good read, I also wish it were thicker. I've been a subscriber for many years, they have a good website also. Not nearly as good as this one though. I also remember a magazine called Beards and Spurs and wondered what ever became of that script?

I have the 1st issue and took it for years,started good, then commercialization ruined it for me. .I have some left ,but threw most away,too much clutter !
