Title: Beretta Outlander A300/ Camo Fade
Post by: Longshanks on April 21, 2016, 07:39:50 AM
Shot my Outlander about 15 times the other day and hunted with the gun the next morning. Got back to the truck and noticed that the camo on top of the receiver has faded. About one inch by 3inch.  Haven't put any oil on the outside of the gun and don't use insect repellent. Took it to the gunsmith and he said it looks like something got on the gun or its just a bad place in the film.  Strange. Anyone seen this with your camo gun?
Good chance is just skinned it up crossing creeks and crawling to get in position.

Didn't browning have some problems with fading or peeling a while back too?
Seems i read that on here .
Anyway that is a shame , you put alot of effort into that shotgun. :(

Yup, frustrating. Spoke to a company today that will dip the gun when I get ready for that. Just gonna hunt with it for now. Hammered a turkey at 39 steps this morning 11" beard 1 1/8" Spurs.
