Title: Choke Suggestions for M500 Super bantam
Post by: PAbigbear on April 10, 2016, 01:20:57 PM
I just picked up a new M500 super bantam, 22" barrel.  I already have a couple boxes of Federal HW#7 to use.  I plan to deep clean the barrel before heading out to pattern with the factory choke.  If I don't get adequate results what is the recommended choke for this setup?  Seems like the carlsons are a relatively good choke that doesn't break the bank.  Thanks!

I have the 500 turkey with the 22" barrel, it came with the x-factor choke (not bad).  I've tried an Undertaker & a Tightwad, of the three, the Tightwad .570 was the best for me (with hevi & lead loads).

Tight wad for the federal heavy weight. I plan on shooting mine this weekend with heavy weight #6. I will post results. Otherwise indian creek .555 with hevi 13 or lead.

I shot the Primos Tightwad .570 and 3in 1-1/2oz Federal Heavyweight #6 combo this weekend.  It put up 105 hits in a 10in circle at 40yds.
