Just bought a rem 870 3" chambered gun and looking for some advise on a choke for it
It has a redhead blackout .660 in it now but thought I would see what you all are using

Try that choke with some 3" Hevi-Shot #6's and 3" Winchester Longbeards #5's. :OGturkeyhead:
I have some #5 longbeards that my brother shoots to try out of it today if it's not raining
All of my family shoots the longbeards and they do shoot well

Hard to beat a Jellyhead .665 with 3" #5 Longbeards.
I've shot both the long beard #6 and the magnum blends also and they both pattern about the same, around 200 in the 10 at 40 yrds. This was using a truglo SSX choke and also and Indian Creek, both pattern both to the same, but POI was off so had to add some adjustable sights to the gun.

X2
Or a .660 JH with Hevi #7's
You may be very pleased with what you have!
Jellyhead 660 fan here.

Hard to go wrong with a Jellyhead .660 or .665.
What you have should work. I'm a Indian Creek and TSS fan.
665 jelly head has thrown good patterns with any hevi shells I've tried
Ohiostrutter, where you find s 665" for a Rem. 870....I only see a 660" available and am wondering if this was once made for the 870, because only 660" is listed on all sites as available.
.
If you can find a Remington Ventilator choke that one worked best in mine.

Buddy of mine did very well with, of all things, a Tightwad .660...They're cheap and apparently effective. He shoots 3" #6 Longbeards out of it...166 in the ten at 40 yds.
