This is my dads 1980s model 1100 that has been in the closet for years. He's in assisted living now. Neat to be able to resurrect his 2 3/4 quail gun and turn it into a turkey gun. Who would have ever thought?
This is the Big Stubby NC load #9 at 40. With Remington Super Full Choke. 278/219. Shoots pretty dead on with the bead.
neat! that will wreck a toms day. :OGturkeyhead:
Nice!!! You have a killer combo there.
Is that the super full hevi shot rem choke or the super full lead only rem choke?
Nice pattern!!!

It is the lead only extended choke.
heck of a pattern. I've yet to run TSS 9's thru a Rem Super Full choke in a 20ga that didn't throw a great pattern. :you_rock:

Thanks! My 1100 didn't shoot that well with the lead only choke but I am using the Big 20XL.
The exit diameter of the one I have measures .572. The rem hevi shot choke I just bought measures .577 exit diameter.

At first when I was reading every single post I could find on TSS I actually read one from you about batting 100% on the 870 youth guns that you set up for people running the RSF...worked for me as well in both he youth 870 and 1100 20 gauges.
