This is my second attempt at turning a Micarta striker. First one didn't do to well. I took what I learned on the first and made some changes. There's still room for improvement but it will play giving the calls I've run it on a high clear yelp. Just something else I had to try. Thanx for the look.(http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a336/callmakerman/IMG_0631_zpsuoviulua.jpg) (http://s14.photobucket.com/user/callmakerman/media/IMG_0631_zpsuoviulua.jpg.html)

Man I hope not. This is not an easy turn. When you get down to the shaft you have to go reaaaaaaaaaaaaal slooooooooooooooow. Nerve racking :TooFunny:
Bet your shop smells a might also. :TooFunny:
Looks good Bill

Believe it or not this stuff wasn't as bad as the last chunk I had.
Leave no stones unturned...... :icon_thumright:
Nice looking striker, Bill
Nice striker my friend! I'll be contacting you soon :icon_thumright:
I gotta think that Micarta should work. It has enough resin in it.

Steve it dies work and you could call a bird in with it for sure. I need to do one that's thinned down a bit more and I think it will work even better.
Looks good to me!
