Title: No.2 Friction wood
Post by: WillowRidgeCalls on March 19, 2016, 12:19:48 PM
This is my 2nd attempt at a friction wood build. It's an Osage / Mahogany combo. This call has a much better break in the yelps and the cuts are sharp and snappy, the clucks and purrs are a bit higher pitched, than they were on the maple call. I'm still learning as I go, but it's getting it figured out quickly. I have to thank Treerooster for his scaled drawing and photos of his original Morgan call.
Thanks for lookin, Scott

Cool.  I'm really glad to see call builders resurrecting the frictionwood call.
