Title: Spring Allure Leopardwood pot...
Post by: Smooth_Operator on March 10, 2016, 06:35:40 PM
Got this one in the mail from Ricky last week, it's a Leopardwood slate over glass. Now, slates aren't generally my favorite, but this one is killer.  Can soft talk, yelp like a champ, and produces some awesome sharp clucks and purrs.  By easing the pressure off of the striker a bit it can also produce some awesome rasp.  All around great pot, thanks for looking...

Nice call, how many times did you have to stop to sharpen your tools?

Well 840 is not very high.  Cedar is 900. Would not think it would be a difficult wood to work, but no idea.
