Title: WTB brass pot

I'm looking for a brass pot. Anybody have any they would sell or trade?

If you cant find one that someone wants to sell on here, get in touch with John Sinclair.  He can tell you which woods work the best for the sound your looking for and can also build you one in the price range your looking for.

FWIW, I just got one from John, and its a 3'' Brass over Slate in a Kingwood pot.  I love it.  Its raspy and sounds awesome.  I had a 3.25'' and I didn't like the sound of it as much so I sent it back to him and he sent me the 3'' which I liked better.  The smaller the surface the higher the pitch.  All depends on what kind of sound you like and are looking for.

I have one of Mike's 3 inch brass pot and it is a good one.  I have paired it with an ironwood striker and it is now a really good one!  Makes excellent soft calls.
