Never played with a bamboo, how's it comparable in sound to other woods? Very nice looking striker...

Thank you thank you. Bamboo is pretty hard but still has a lot of bite. I like it best on glass and crystal and copper. The front end has a little less screech. I suppose everyone is different as I've had people tell me they like it on everything.
