It will fit. I'm running one and I know hookedspur is running one. What problem are you having?

It is about 1/4-1/2" from fitting against the receiver when I slide it on...

Do you have the shim in? Should be no shim. You may have to turn the stock 90 degrees to get the recoil spring tube to go thru the hole. I had the same thing happen but can't remember what it was. It was something simple tho and I didn't have to mod anything

Wait I just remembered. There are 2 different recoil tube caps. I bet you need the other one. I had to order one for mine.

Which retaining plug you have? You need the one on top that's straight thread. Mine came from the factory with the bottom one.

Yes, I have the one you have picture on the bottom, not the straight one, I guess that's why it wouldn't work...

Yep the bottom one will not fit through the stock hole because of the bulge behind the threads. It's up to you if you still want to sell or keep it but I really enjoy mine. Sorry for hijacking your sell thread

I had same issue. Called Benelli customer service and explained it to the guy. He went and talked to a gunsmith, then came back and took my address info to send me the solid threaded one. Got it about 3 days later, free of charge!
