The best ceramic I own is an Andy Kaiser walnut/redheart laminated pot. Probably my favorite pot call I own actually.  Gary Anderson also makes a great ceramic. Have heard good things about the Halloran but haven't played one myself...

I have owned several ceramics , but in my opinion olin humpries ceramic is the best I have ever had. That's one call I will have in my vest always. A close second is jimmy schaffers red hen. It has been really effective on a few birds. Again my opinion.

On a good ceramic you can do it all.  FYI someone just posted a Stumpy Ceramic in the classifieds. Stumpy's ceramics are very popular on here...

I've had a halloran, houndstooth, and schaffers.

I went a tear one season with the houndstooth and a Neal yellowheart striker, called 4 birds in 5 days to the gun in one trip for me and my wife with it.

Moye Howard of Dead bird walking calls makes a fantastic sounding ceramic pot.

I certainly like the one I have.  I historically had little interest in ceramic, and that proved to be a mistake when I cam into the Stumpy pot from a guy near McRae.  I matched up a yellowheart and bloodwood striker after experimenting with softer strikers, and got birds to talk when they would not respond to others.
