I got a Paduak slate from Billy McCallister and Del Crow of Natural Addiction calls today. It's easy to see why they won 1st place in the slate division in Nashville earlier this month and 1st place at Norseman last month. This might be the best sounding slate call I have ever heard. For those of you that know Del, he can yelp on a blade of grass or take a hub cap and a rock and make it sound like a turkey. He has teamed up with Billy's wood working skills and they are making some great calls. Their calls sound like turkeys, not just turkey calls. These good ole boys from GA are quickly making a name for themselves. Oh, by the way, one of their trumpets won the Tom Turpin award in Nashville also.
Congrats on a fine call from two great guys. Proud to call them friends!
Waiting on my son's walnut slate from his birthday now! The video Del sent me of it was on fire. Definitely going to have to add one to my vest as well!

You got a good one Jody. I got the same call from Del and Billy at Nashville. I got a Persimmon striker from them. I have also paired it with a Purpleheart striker and it really sounds good.
Congrats Jody!! I've heard a soundfile of those calls and they sound great!!
Congrats, Jody....
Another fine call in your arsenal of KILLER calls.....

You could not have said it better. Del is amazing on EVERY turkey call he picks up.
Awesome!

I appreciate it fellas but I assure you there are calls out there that I can't even help. I also sound like a bull frog croaking on a ghost cut mouth call.
