I'm with JHoyle!! If your looking to complete your Grand Slam I would head further south, you will get a much better representation of an Osceola gobbler with darker wings.  If I remember correctly Levy County is in the Osceola Zone but you wont be able to tell the difference between and eastern or an osceola from my personal experience.  Levy county is real close to the line that separates the Easterns and Osceolas.  In my opinion the further south you go the better representation of the species.   Good Luck

Check out Swamp Gobbler Outfitters near Okeechobee Fl. I have been there myself several times and I know there are several members on this board that have been there. Top notch guys and a great place to hunt.

Don't go north of Orlando area in Florida , the guides that operate up that way will say anything , and I mean anything to get you to book

DR.Lovett Williams the foremost expert on the subject without question has examined thousands of specimens and published his findings and that is Orlando area south 100% Osceola , up north hybrids - if anyone else has a doctorate in wildlife biology pioneered Turkey biology , trap and transplant and worked in biology in the state of Florida for half a decade I'd like them to publish their findings

I have hunted with Osceola Outfitters, Hoppie Kemfer owner near St. Cloud FL.  Just got back from down there. (Hog Hunting) Seen lots of Osceola gobblers.
