Title: fowler striker question

I was wondering for all of you that have fowler strikers ...what are some of his best woods for glass an crystal....I have yellowheart..ipe...what are some other woods that sound good? So many different ones on his website..only interested in his 1 PC strikers...thanks

I probably have 40 of Harold's strikers and my favorite on glass/crystal is his Dymondwood.

I have tried all different kinds and honestly diamond wood and purpleheart works well on about anything I have ever ran. also a maccasar ebony is always in my vest as well.

His green dymondwood with a Osage top or one piece red dymondwood the snake wood or purple heart ain't bad either

Dymondwood, and my absolute favorite, a desert ironwood topped/carbon stemmed/mammoth ivory tip...

I have a shoe box full. They all run but his dymondwood and black locust are my favorite 1 piece. I have a few osage, snake wood that are cherry on anything. All of his run.

Mystery wood two piece runs well on glass, crystal, and aluminum....

      I'm a big fan of Mr. Fowlers babinga 1 piece & a bocote 2 piece strikers.....

      Fine strikers and an even finer man......

His Snakewood is a must-have IMO but like Jgarret said, the Osage top/Purpleheart is a good one as well.
