Title: SX3 Longbeard and Indian creek choke
Post by: RiverRoost on January 15, 2016, 11:46:16 AM
Borrowed an IC .665 From a friend to try in my SX3. Anybody shooting this setup or have recommendations on which shell to try patterning with.

Tried that choke in browning gold with Hevi shot 6's and Hevi Shot 7's in 2oz and 2.25oz.  Did pretty well.  I imagine the Longbeards would do well.

Been shooting the Hevi #7 and .665 IC for about 4 years in the SX3 average around  300 to 315 but I have several boxes of the #300325 lot ammo.

Exact setup I have been running for the past two years.

You will be VERY pleased !!!

Doesn't seem to care if it's fed 6's, 5's or 4's.  I am shooting 3 1/2" XR's.  It throws monster patterns to 60 yards on paper.
