Title: Trail Cam
Post by: Greg Massey on January 05, 2016, 12:47:24 PM
How do you guys setup your trail cam for turkey pictures and video...I'm new to using trail cameras so do i need to set them up just like i did for deer season or do you guys set them lower to the ground or what ?

I put them at the same height as for deer mid-thigh to just below my waist. I tend to put them looking down roads and on plots. I'm more likely to stick one up on a cut 2x4 in the middle of a plot looking toward the edge than to put on the edge looking toward the middle for turkeys. Sometimes I'll put them on dust bowls, but I rarely see gobblers on them during the season.

I use mine the same way I put my up for deer season.
